Can technology help us assess our city's greenery?
This article, written by our partner Forest Design, presents different tools that can help map and monitor urban forests and trees, such as the Earth Observation Browser or LiDAR. These tools can greatly contribute to improving the management of urban forests, maximising their benefits and reducing disservices.

Plant for the Future: Climate Change and Tree Selection
Selecting tree species that can overcome the harsh conditions of urban areas and live long, healthy lives is crucial, especially in face of climate change. But how can we choose the right trees according to the expected climate conditions of the next 20, 30 or even 60 years? Confronted with this task, PlanIT Geo developed a new method called the Sister Climate City Analysis.
