Innovation alliance for training programmes

for deforestation-free supply chains in Europe

Welcome!

We're back with the second edition of the EMMA4EU newsletter, an initiative co-funded by the European Commission, that aims to tackle embedded deforestation by connecting higher education institutions, businesses and NGOs and creating new opportunities for capacity development, training and knowledge sharing.

This newsletter will be sent out every three months. For this issue, we are happy to share news about our journey towards zero-deforestation supply chains  and interesting opportunities for you!

Are you a student or a professional?

The EMMA4EU team is creating a free online e-learning course. To design the curriculum, we need to identify the knowledge skills and competency gaps of students and professionals.

If you are/will be involved in reducing deforestation risk in supply chains and implementing the EUDR, please take 15 minutes to share your experience with us!

What's next?

It has been almost a year since the work of the EMMA4EU project began! We have already achieved several milestones, and many more await us in the coming months.

Starting in July, the alliance platform will be officially accessible to all those who sign up in the next few weeks! We are looking forward to it!

Also, in the second week of July, we will hold the PSC Meeting with project partners in Wageningen, an essential moment to plan the next project steps with partners.  Stay tuned!
