Innovation alliance for training programmes

for deforestation-free supply chains in Europe

Welcome!

We're back with a new number of the EMMA4EU newsletter, an initiative co-funded by the European Commission to tackle embedded deforestation by connecting higher education institutions, businesses, and NGOs and creating new opportunities for capacity development, training, and knowledge sharing. This newsletter will be sent out every three months. For this issue, we are happy to share news about our journey towards zero-deforestation supply chains and exciting opportunities for you.

The Innovation Report on Deforestation-free Supply Chains analyses 43 case studies to evaluate successful and less successful practices for achieving deforestation-free supply chains (DFSC) offering scientific insights and practical solutions for policymakers, companies, civil society, and researches.

You can find also a summary with the key insights available in English, Danish, Dutch, Italian and German. Perfect for a quick read, the abstract provides a clear overview of the report’s findings and how they support the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
